twelfth night

this past thursday j and I went to the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre to see their production of The Twelfth Night.

it. was. amazing.

i was told that that there was a water element to the set, but i didn't really believe it 'til I saw it. there was a giant pool on the stage! no wait, the pool WAS the stage! and yes, the actors dove in and out of the water in their full Elizabethan costumes! crazy? yes. sitting in the front row? even crazier (read: splashy) :)

I'm back from Philly! And yes mom, safe and sound :)
I have gobs of pictures to share, but it might take me a couple days to get them all organized: AAM Conference, Liberty Bell, Old City Hall, Benjamin Franklin's grave, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Masonic Temple, Reading Terminal Market, Rittenhouse Square, Love Park, Battleship New Jersey .... was I really only there for 2.5 days??
