When I was little I paid no attention to St Patrick's Day. None. The only time I remember thinking about it was when I arrived to school on patty's day not wearing any green, which as you know, constitutes a pinch. Now that I'm older, I can't help but notice St Patrick's Day because it's celebrated for 2 weeks straight here in Chicago. Also, my birthday is on the 9th so for the last few years, green hats and green beer have adorned my birthday celebrations.
No, I'm not complaining :) I have amazing friends who help me celebrate in a non-Irish way....bowling!!
